Sent the girl I%26#039;m dating flowers on the anniversary of her sisters death. I really like her and want to like me. Was this thoughtful or calculating?

I wouldn%26#039;t send her flowers maybe a card. Flowers say celebrate not anniversary of a loved one. Unless you are a loved one I wouldn%26#039;t send flowers. If you want her to like you than don%26#039;t be afraid, tell her. Trust me, us girls know when you like us, and it is better to hear it from your mouth than someone else. Then we might just think that you are a stalker and get a PFA or something.

Reply:You really should have asked this question BEFORE you sent the flowers. You should have done something that shows your support, that you are there for her perhaps a phone call suggesting a visit to the cemetary together or maybe a walk. Don%26#039;t get me wrong, the gesture was thoughtful but keep in mind the next time you get her flowers (b-day, valentines etc.) the symbol behind the gift may now mean something different to her. The flowers would have been a better gift for the sister even though it is probably still appreciated.
