What should I do if I treated my girlfriend like a queen, but she took it for granted?

So here%26#039;s the story. I%26#039;ve been going out with this girl for the past year and she was my first true love. She%26#039;s the first one to ever say she loved me or do any romantic things with me from the beginning. But as time progressed she started acting differently. She became jealous of any of my friends that were girls and wouldn%26#039;t let me talk to them, but she still talked to all of her guy friends. During out whole relationship I treated her like she was my whole world; I planned surprise dinners, I brought her flowers on every anniversary, I wrote her poems, and did everything I could to make her feel special. She never realized how much effort I put into this relationship, and instead of acknowledging what I had done, she began to lie to me about hanging out with other guys and had them call me and tell me to stop calling her cell phone...when we were still dating! What should I do? This hurts so much! Was she just saying she loved me just to use me and keep me around?

i am sorry to tell you this but it does sound like she was just using you. you should dump her. you deserve someone that won%26#039;t take you for granted and that will love you as much as you love them. i am sorry i know how much that hurts...i am a girl who had the guy do that to me. it hurts but dump her and move on. hey maybe you will find someone that you love more than you loved her
Reply:It could be maybe she is just not feeling the same way any more. Talk to her face to face and ask her these ?. It is pretty hard to ignore you if your in front of her. You also have to realize that you can%26#039;t predicted what someones true intentions are. Don%26#039;t let this make you afraid to fall in love again. Everyone gets their heart broken it%26#039;s just part of life.
Reply:as bad as this sounds i think you might be right about her. It does seem like she was using you and your right that is heartbreaking. Now your in a bad situation because you love her and you dont know whats going on with her. I suggest that the next time you are alone with her you have a nice long talk about how she has been treating you and where she thinks the relationship is going

Reply:I have a friend in a similar situation, and personally I think that she should just leave him because he%26#039;s been taking her for granted. He used to get so angry and upset at her (like the hulk) when all she did was hangout with his sister. So that%26#039;s what you should do (leave her) because obviously she doesn%26#039;t appreciate the things that you do for her, or maybe she just isn%26#039;t mature enough for that kind of a relationship. You need to make yourself available to try new things and get out of this hell bound relationship...There are plenty of girls out there that would appreciate even half of the things that you say you%26#039;ve done for her. Just take a chance, put yourself out there and try dating other people. You never know, you may end up finding someone that you love even more than that psycho.
